Situation:
Eileen Fisher, a women's clothing brand, aimed to create a strategy that would introduce the spirit of the brand to a younger and new audience, drive brand engagement, and increase online sales. The challenge was to develop a strategy that felt fresh and unique. To work in collaboration with Nordstrom, featuring some exclusive products to Nordstrom, and create content that fit within the style of Nordstrom while maintaining the brand ethos and aesthetics of Eileen Fisher.
Task:
As Social Media Strategist, Art Director, and stylist, I was responsible for the overall Social Media Strategy, art direction, and styling of the campaign.
This involved:
Developing the campaign concept and visual identity.
Presenting concepts, storyboards/moodboards to Eileen Fisher and Nordstrom leaders.
Directing the photoshoot, including collaborating with the producer, photographer, model, stylist, hair stylist, and makeup artist.
Overseeing execution of all digital assets and allocating repurposing of assets with email marketing, web merchandising, and Nordstrom buying teams for use on website banners, email templates, and additional social media content.
Action:
I developed a mood board and creative brief that captured the brand aesthetic: elevated, sophisticated, and joyful.
I selected a team of talented creatives, including the photographer, stylist, hair stylist, and makeup artist, to bring the vision to life.
I worked with the producer to scout locations for the shoot and create a plan for scheduling day-of-shoot.
I worked closely with the photographer to establish the shot list, composition, and lighting for the photoshoot.
I collaborated with the stylist to select the wardrobe and accessories that would complement the campaign concept.
I oversaw the post-production process, ensuring that the final images were polished and aligned with the brand's visual standards.
I oversaw final design/layout with graphic designers to ensure proper execution of a range of digital assets, including website banners, email templates, social media content, that showcased the campaign imagery and messaging.
Result:
The resulting Nordstrom campaign was a success, generating high levels of brand engagement and contributing to a significant increase in online sales through the lik2buy channels. The campaign was praised for its beautiful imagery, unique creative concept, and seamless integration across all digital channels.
